It's no secret that I heart Martha Stewart Weddings - so I have to share this latest inspiration board I put together borrowing images from the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. These touches add some much class to a formal black tie wedding.

My mom loves carnations, but honestly I've never been a big fan of them. That was until I started to see them like this! Carnations can look amazing when grouped together in big bunches like in the photos attached. Best thing about carnations is they are very inexpensive and can look fantastic and elegant for a wedding or shower.

Here's an inspiration board with one of this years hot colors - Yellow. One of my favorite things about this color is the fact you can use lemons for centerpieces. Such a great cost effective way to incorporate your color!

The weather forecast in Calgary is finally calling for some warm weather for the next few days, and with Spring around the corner we've been thinking of some great ideas for Spring weddings. I love cherry blossoms and they look so amazing when they are in bloom. Here's an inspiration board with ideas for decor, invitations and cakes for a cherry blossom themed wedding.

I want to take this time to congratulate Corinne and Adam on their engagement! Adam proposed on Christmas eve and of course the lovely Corinne said yes! We're thrilled these two love birds are getting hitched in 2010.

They've decided to use blue as their color scheme for their big day. All hues of blue - light blue, dark blue and my personal favorite teal blue. Adam will be wearing a blue and green kilt, and they'll be getting married near the ocean out east, so this color combination works very well for them.

Here's another great color combination for all you Calgary spring brides! My favorite part of this board is the use of limes in the centerpieces. What a great economical way to infuse a great color. Top with some mixed pink blooms, and you have an incredible piece!

With Christmas just around the corner, everything seems to be coming up red and green! So we thought we'd do a post on a red and green color scheme. The possibilities are endless. Even if you're not having a holiday wedding, infuse some lime green with a nice deep red, and it can look amazing! In addition, with using green as one of your colors, you can use a lot of floral greenery and cut down on the cost of your floral arrangements.
